Wilson received an Golden Globe Award for Best Actress of a Television Series in Drama 2015 alongside Mauratierney and Joshua Jackson. Wilson told British Vogue, "I loved playing the character that has both sides of the tale." Noah sees Alison as this confident, reckless sexually attractive version of herself. However, she perceives herself differently, as someone who is unassuming and pretentious from the inside. She stated: America has become so moralist, and so judgemental that events on this show are to be shocking. Wilson was a part of the show until 2018, to the dismay of many viewers. surprise, however she didn't provide any particulars. Adding more of the horror genre onto her film credits, she's set to be a part of the British film adaptation of The Little Stranger a supernatural thriller based on the book by writer Sarah Waters. Wilson will also serve as executive producing this film.
